(LLCT) - The Fourth Industrial Revolution (FIR) has made comprehensive, extensive, and fast impacts on all areas of the social life, including training and education. Many issues have been raised to the training and fostering of cadres such as renewal of the institution governance, renovation of training and fostering methods and enhancement of lecturers’ competence. In this reality, the article suggests some solutions to improve the quality of cadre training, including renewal of mechanisms and policies, renewal of administration; enhancing the quality of lectures; renewal of training work; promotion of scientific research and practical review.

(LLCT) - Over the last years, ethnic minority personnel and civil servants have grown in qualitative and quantitative terms, thereby contributing to furthering socio-economic development and maintaining political security and social order in ethnic minority regions nationwide.

(LLCT) - The Party’s 12^th Congress observed that education and training had gained remarkable achievements including “the socialization of education and training has been intensified...”. The national educational system has diversified. A learning society has gradually taken shape. Nursery, comprehensive, vocational and non-public tertiary education has gained a good number of results over the last years. High-quality schools and classes have been established and have met people’s learning demands.

(LLCT) - In the context of international integration, close cooperation between universities and businesses is now regarded as a condition for ensuring the survival and growth of both institutions. In recent years, Vietnam’s tertiary education has become larger and more diverse in terms of forms and areas of training. For university graduates to meet the requirements of hiring organizations and businesses, and especially to avoid imbalance between the supply and demand of high-quality human resources, the State has introduced policies encouraging universities to cooperate with businesses in training, scientific research and technological transfer.

(LLCT) - Women participating in research and teaching of political theory not only affirms their status in politics, management and leadership, but also ensures women’s rights by providing ground for policy making at all levels and sectors, particularly ones with a large base of women. 

(LLCT) - Ho Chi Minh’s educational philosophy is continued in Vietnam, shifting from traditional techniques to modern practices and contributing to the unique values of Vietnam. Today, the Party and State are further researching and applying Ho Chi Minh’s educational philosophy to the formulation of guidelines, policies and laws about education in Vietnam, keeping his revolutionary ideas alive during this era of national renewal.

(LLCT) - Throughout Vietnam’s history of international relations, the country has maintained a particularly unique connection with Laos, a loyal, clear, and effective alliance between two nations struggling for independence, freedom, and social progress. Over the course of this relationship, Vietnam and Laos have achieved significant results on cooperation in training leadership and management officials. However, a number of problems must still be overcome.    

(LLCT) - In 1984, the Director of the Nguyen Ai Quoc Supreme Party School (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics now) decided to establish the Section of Socialist Culture for training and cultivating the Party’s cultural theory, culture and literature - art guidelines for the contingent of key leaders and managers. In 1989, the Section of Socialist Culture was upgraded into the Faculty of Socialist Culture. Further, there were established Faculties of Socialist Culture in the branch institutes of the system of the Party schools (the local academies now).

(LLCT) - In 1964, the Management board of the Nguyen Ai Quoc Supreme Party School decided to establish the Faculty of Scientific socialism for the sake of researching and teaching the specialized subject of Scientific socialism, and to render practical service to the theoretical work and training of middle and high-rank cadres of the Party and State.

The Opening Ceremony of the First Refresher Course for Reserve Senior Officials was held at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on 27 March 2013. Mr. To Huy Rua, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Course Steering Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered an instructional speech.
