Abstract: Climate change is one of the most significant global challenges, directly threatening human lives. Many international conventions on climate change have been signed. However, the global political will to cope with climate change is not enough, and the world is facing a “climate disaster”. Being one of the countries that severely suffer from climate change, Vietnam considers coping with climate change a top priority on the agenda for national development and actively cooperates with other countries to respond to global climate change. The article overviews international and Vietnam’s views on coping with climate change.
