Abstract: In the new epochal context, the development goals and paths are critical issues for all nations and peoples. For Vietnam, national independence is attached to socialism, which has been the path chosen by Ho Chi Minh, our Party and our people. Steadfastness in pursuing the goal has guided the Vietnamese revolution to overcome many dangerous challenges and achieve ever-greater achievements. That also proves the core, sustainable and noble values ​​of socialism which humanity strives towards have been gradually realized and profoundly expressed through the work "Some theoretical and practical issues of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam” compiled by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
