The ethnic-religion cohesion of the khmer theravada buddhism in the south

Abstract: Khmer Theravada Buddhism has been in the Southern region of Vietnam since very early and is closely linked to the development of the Southern region. With many cultural imprints created on the aspects of ideology, morality, lifestyle, language... Khmer Theravada Buddhism always holds an important position in the mind of the Khmer people. The article focuses on overviewing the cohesion between ethnic culture and religion of the Khmer Theravada Buddhist in the South, which has created the cultural identity of the Khmer ethnic community. Thereby, the article suggests issues to be focused in completing the policy towards Khmer Theravada Buddhism in the South.
