Abstract: The rise of social networking sites has fundamentally altered the flow of information, shifting it from a communication model of one source - multiple recipients to a network model of multiple sources - multiple recipients. The article provides an overview of political communication on social networks in Vietnam by analyzing the operation of some socio-political organizations and press agencies on social networks, i.e., Facebook, Zalo, YouTube, and Tik Tok. Thereby, suggestions for using social media for political communication in Vietnam are provided.
