US policies impact on security in Southeast Asia

Abstract: Southeast Asia is a special geoeconomic and political region connecting continents and countries worldwide. Currently, in the face of intricate and unpredictable changes in great power competition - a fundamental component in the regional security environment, particularly the role of the US in Southeast Asian countries’ security. The article examines the impact of US policies and strategies on Southeast Asia’s security and makes recommendations to sustain the region’s peace and development.
