Abstract: Political theory and social sciences and humanities in our country have made significant advancements in summarizing practice, theoretical research by putting Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the 6^thConference of the Central Party Committee (11^thtenure), contributing to deepening and enriching the scientific, revolutionary, and humanistic values of Marxism - Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought; provide scientific grounds for the formulation of the Party's guidelines and State’s policies, for defending the Party’s ideological foundation. The article analyzes and defines the position, role, and current condition to encourage scholarly study in political theory, social sciences, and humanities and to contribute to the Party’s ideological foundation, combating wrongful and hostile views.
