Abstracts: In response to climate change, Vietnam has been actively promoting women's equal rights. This, combined with our nation's participation in the Human Rights Council from 2014 to 2016, has demonstrated that Vietnam has consistently been a serious member, a contributor to upholding shared human rights values, and a leader in advancing gender equality and human empowerment, who are highly regarded by the world community. Vietnam will continue to prioritize its commitments to promoting gender equality and women's empowerment as a candidate for the United Nations Human Rights Council for the term 2023-2025. Vietnam is also willing to collaborate with other nations in a joint effort to effectively respond to climate change.
Keywords: women; gender equality; climate change.
