The motto “Seeking common ground while reserving differences” in Ho Chi Minh’s thought of the great unity

Abstract: President Ho Chi Minh left the Party and the Vietnamese nation a precious spiritual legacy, including a unique system of revolutionary methods, which have great significance to the Vietnamese revolution. The article focuses on clarifying the content of the method, the motto “More friends, fewer enemies” has been effectively used by President Ho Chi Minh, becoming the art of dividing the enemies, gathering forces, building a united national front, realizing the goal of national liberation, building a new society. At the same time, the article clarifies the Party’s application of this motto at the 13th Party Congress.
