Abstract: Strengthening national defense and security and firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland is the Vietnamese revolution’s essential and regular task. The article summarizes new perceptions and thinking in the documents of the 13^thParty Congress on the goals and tasks of national defense and security, firmly protecting the socialist Vietnam Fatherland, thereby proposing solutions to strengthen the education of national defense and security.
