Abstract: Cultural heritage is the creative product of ethnic communities. Conservation and promotion of cultural heritage play an essential role in creating a foundation for social cohesion, ensuring equal humanistic and identical development of each nation. The article summarizes the current situation of Vietnam’s cultural heritage, the principles and challenges in cultural heritage conservation, thereby proposing solutions to improve the conservation and promotion of cultural heritage in light of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.
