Abstract: The contingent of cadres and civil servants in our country has constantly grown, has the capacity, qualifications and moral qualities to meet the requirements of the revolutionary cause in the new period. However, there is still a part of civil servants who have degraded in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle, showing signs of deviating from public service ethics to different degrees. To overcome that standard deviation, it is necessary to perfect the socialist-oriented market economic institution, perfect the legal system; strengthen propaganda and education; promote the positivity and initiative, raise the sense of self-cultivation and self-discipline of civil servants in our country today; strengthen inspection and evaluation of the performance of duties and powers of public servants, periodically reward and discipline in public service activities.
