Abstract:The rapid development of information technology nowadays brings about new opportunities to improve national governance and justice execution. The fourth industrial revolution and the unceasing development of digital technology have thoroughly changed the court’s operation. In that context, the court system of Vietnam set goals to enhance information technology application, making full use of the opportunities from the technological revolution to build an e-court system. Such is considered one of the critical tasks of Justice reform strategy in People’s courts to improve performance and build an up-to-date court system, as addressed by the 13th Party Congress.
