Abstract: Democracy is the nature of the socialist regime, the goal and driving force of the country's development, therefore, our Party always attaches great importance to promoting democracy in all organizations and activities; ensuring the people's right to mastery, all power belongs to the people. The article analyzes the central role and position of socialist democracy and promotes the people's right to mastery in national construction and defense, thereby proposing directions to promote socialist democracy and promote the people’s mastery.
