Vietnamese peasant class after 10 years of implementing the Resolution of the 7th Plenum - 10th tenure of the Central Party Committee

Abstract: Vietnam is a country with a relatively large proportion of people living in rural areas, working in agricultural sector or agriculture-related services. The 7thPlenum of the Party Central Committee, (10thterm in 2008) issued Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW on agriculture, farmers and rural areas. After 13 years of implementation, the Vietnamese peasant class has changed and matured in many aspects, however, there are still some problems that need to be studied and improved. The article analyzes the achievements and limitations, thereby proposing recommendations to build and develop the peasant class in the current period.
