Attending and giving steering speech at the conference, the HCMA’s Deputy Director, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Tat Giap highly appreciated the organizing and the fruitful results of the co-hosting agencies in their research, which figured out emerging issues from theoretical and practical perspectives. He also believed the research would contribute in assisting grassroots-level trade union officials in policy implementing and consulting, especially in FDI sector.

This conference is part of the common research program between the Institute of Socialism and the RLS in Hanoi, mainly focused on the issues as follow: Current situation on legal basis for trade union operation in FDI enterprises in Vietnam and experience of Germany; achievements in protecting laborer’s right and benefit and training - fostering trade union officials; the organizing model; and some recommendations to state management agencies in policy planning.
