Bui Thi Ngoc Lan: The Communist Manifesto and its orientation path of the transitional path to socialism in Vietnam

During the 170 years since the publication of the Communist Manifesto, its precious values  have been applied creatively to the road of building socialism in many countries. For Vietnam, the transitional road to socialism that Vietnam has chosen has a clearer orientation of the Manifesto and of Marxism-Leninism. The vitality of the Manifesto continues to inspire us to complement and develop the theory of socialism and the transition to socialism in Vietnam in the new context.

Tran Thi Minh Tuyet: The Communist Manifesto through the inheritance and development of Ho Chi Minh

Since its inception, the Communist Manifesto by Marx and Engels has become a political platform, the revolutionary banner of the working class all over the world. President Ho Chi Minh and our Party have inherited and developed the ideas of the Manifesto on specific conditions of Vietnam, step by step realizing the revolutionary principles set forth by the Manifesto, which has been contributing to affirm the value, vitality of the Manifesto in the new age and new space.

Ta Ngoc Tan: Cognition of theories of culture, society and people: Current situation and posing problems

After more than 30 years of implementing the renewal policy, Vietnam has gained great achievements. In the fields of culture, society and people, the Party's cognition of reasoning has made great results, contributing significantly to the achievements of the cause of renovation. However, there are also a number of issues in theoretical research, such as the need to clarify the content, mechanism and effects of culture to socio-economic life; better understand the role of culture in people, social security and social development; the role of culture in politics, in economics; building human values standards and building Vietnamese people, etc.

Pham Ngoc Anh: Heritage of Ho Chi Minh ideology of integration and international cooperation

From the early 1920s, on his way for national salvation and liberation, Ho Chi Minh clearly stated his thought of befriending every nation, regardless of the political regimes. After the August 1945 Revolution, he sent a letter to the United Nation National Assembly and the great countries to show Vietnam’s willing to join the United Nation with the mission of keeping peace, fighting against oppression and unfairness. Ho Chi Minh’s thought on international integration and cooperation is the methodological orientation in the national renovation, integration and sustainable development in Vietnam today.

Tran Don: Paris Conference - A military and political victory for Vietnam

In the framework of the Paris Conference, the Paris Peace Accords, officially titled the Agreement on Ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam, was signed in January 27, 1973. The signatories were the four warring parties, including the United States, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam and the Republic of Vietnam; however the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the United States are main parties in negotiation through their closed meetings. The Agreement was the meaningful international legal document to the national liberation and unification of Vietnam; it was also the success of the unyielding struggle of the Vietnamese people and army under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.

Nguyen Nham: Protection against malicious information on social networks

Malicious information on social networks badly affects the public opinion and public trust on the Party and the State; it spoils the morals, lifestyle and manner of each individual as well as the whole community and the national culture. Therefore, it is crucial to identify malicious information on social networks, from which the plots behind such information can be revealed, measures can be proposed to prevent the plot of “peaceful evolution” and “self-transformation” that hostile forces are aiming at Vietnam.

Dinh Thanh Tung: Some comments on the model of special administrative-economic units in Vietnam

Vietnam is implementing a pilot project of the special administrative-economic unit to form breakthrough administrative-economic mechanism and policy for international competition and national economic growth. For the goals to be completed, it is essential to fully grasp the Party’s and State’s guidelines and policies on developing the special administrative-economic unit, from which the appropriate organizational structure, mechanism and policy should be made.
