(PTOJ) - Renewing the Party’s leadership and ruling modes is one of the tasks set out by the 13^th Party Congress, where the new concept of “the Party’s leadership and ruling modes” was used for the first time after in-depth theoretical and practical research. In order to renew the leadership and ruling modes, it is required to clearly define the Party’s leadership and ruling contents and find proper solutions.

(PTOJ) - Issues about religion, democracy and human rights are always the subjects that hostile forces use to oppose the Party and State of Vietnam. The article identifies wrongful, hostile, and distorting views on religious freedom in Vietnam as stated in the Annual Reports of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and some other social web pages. At the same time, it provides evidence to criticize, fight against and refute such false and distorted views, affirming the achievements of the State of Vietnam in ensuring the right to freedom of belief, religion, and the right to freedom of non-religion of the Vietnamese people.

(PTOJ) - The nature of the working class of the Communist Party is the core content of the Communist Party; it is also one of the basic principles of the Marxist - Leninist theory of the Communist Party. Based on our revolutionary situation and specific condition, President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) inherited and creatively developed the Marxist - Leninist theory of the working class nature of the Communist Party. The article analyzes some of the creative inheritance and development of the CPV.

The article clarifies Nguyen Ai Quoc’s journey to become a communist; analyzes the cause of success and the meaning of that event to the history of the Vietnamese nation in particular and the history of mankind in general.

That goal is associated with “Building and perfecting the Socialist law-ruled State that is transparent, strong, streamlined, effective and efficient, for the people and for the development of the country” in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress. The Article focuses on evaluating the results, limitations and causes; thereby highlighting the orientations in building and perfecting the Vietnamese Socialist law-ruled State in the new context.

The article examines the fundamentals of Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on social security and the application of his ideas in current practice.

(PTOJ) - Reviewing the contributions of the Political Theory Journal to ideological and theoretical work and training and fostering cadres of the Party over 45 years with 524 issues and articles, some directions are proposed to build a vital Journal, making practical contributions to improving the leadership capacity of the Party, effectively serving the cause of building a prosperous and happy country.

(PTOJ) - Implementing the Resolution of the 6th Plenum of the 12th Central Party Committee, the renewal and arrangement of the organizational apparatus of Vietnamese political system has achieved important results, streamlining the organizational structure, and streamlining the boundary and mechanism and restructuring the contingent of cadres, civil servants and public employees. The objective set forth for Vietnamese diplomacy is to develop into a modern one in order to better serve our national economic development. The article outlines directions, objectives, and solutions for Vietnamese diplomacy to reach this goal in the upcoming period.

(PTOJ) - The identification of strategic breakthroughs in each stage of national development plays an important role as leverage for socio-economic development. Therefore, the Socio-economic Development Strategy (2011-2020) specified three strategic breakthroughs which continue to be supplemented and developed in the Documents of the 13^th National Party Congress. This article begins with a definition of “strategic breakthroughs”, then clarifies some of their aspects that are inherited and developed at the 13^thCongress, and finally suggests some conditions to successfully implement the strategic breakthroughs.

(LLCT) - In Vietnam, both the micro-approach to cultural development considering lifelong learning, educational innovation of cultural values, and standards, skills, and the macro-approach to cultural development focusing on developing cultural systems, cultural industries, and cultural markets, display a close and dialectical relationship between economic growth and culture creation in sustainable socio-economic development. Creating a culture in sustainable development in Vietnam goes in the direction toward constructing a learning society, innovating education at the micro level and developing the cultural system, cultural industry, and the cultural market at macro level.

(LLCT) - Vietnamese humanity strength is the traditional value of the nation that inherited and developed by the Party in the light of Marxist humanism and Ho Chi Minh Thought on humanity. These actions capture the hearts of the Vietnamese people throughout the history of national construction and defense, especially the victories of the Vietnamese revolution in the fight for independence and in the process of renovation. In the new era, promoting the human power of Vietnam in the light of Ho Chi Minh Thought is a key for the nation to increase internal power and mobilize external forces.
