Abstract: From the position and role of the syllabus of History of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the curriculum of Advanced Political Theory Program , the article focuses on analyzing and emphasizing the contribution of the Party history major in strengthening the revolutionary outlook, improving political mettle, revolutionary morality, as well as methods and skills to identify and fight against wrongful and distorted views against the history of the Party and the nation, contribute to defending the ideological foundation of the Party.
