Abstract: Participation in law-making is the way in which UN member organizations integrate international norms and standards into the national legal system. Thereby, the UN contributes to narrowing the gap between national law and international law while ensuring the obligations of member states. The article analyzes the participation in law making of UN member organizations in Vietnam, thereby showing the positive aspects of this practice in the current context of international integration.
