Abstract: Studying China's experience in promoting economic development in border areas with the formation of economic models in border areas such as the free economic zones (FEZs), cross-border economic cooperation zones (CBECZs)… is of great importance to the development of many countries, including Vietnam. China’s experiences can be used as a reference for the border-area economic construction and development for Vietnam towards the goals of sustainable development. The article is the result of the Project DTCB.UBDT.01.20-21, under the Ministry-level Science and Technology Program.
