Abstract: Vietnam has entered a phase of low birth rate, based on forecasted data on the population growth rate, the proportion of elderly people in the population structure, and the census data analysis. As a result, it is vital to continue renovating population policies in response to the low birth rate and rapidly aging population to accomplish the country’s strategic development goals in the coming years.
