Abstract: During the course of leading the Vietnamese revolution, from the proper and profound awareness of the roles of culture, the Party has attached importance to culture and been consistent with the viewpoint: “Culture must be placed on par with the economy, politics and social affairs”. Delivering the speech at the National conference of culture on November 24, 2021, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong reaffirmed that viewpoint in the new context of national development. The article analyzes the scientific, humanistic and revolutionary traits of such viewpoint.
