(PTOJ) - The 13th National Party Congress has set out the policy of continuing to strongly renovate the Party’s leadership and governance methods in new conditions. This policy is specified in the Resolution of the 6th Plenum of the 13th National Party Congress. The article clarifies the theoretical basis and policy of the Party on reforming leadership and governance methods; the process of reforming the Party's leadership methods in recent years.
 

(PTOJ) - "One leading Party who keeps the monopoly on power is a dictatorship, constraining democracy!" is one of the arguments made by Vietnam’s opposers who promote the pluralism and multi-party systems, aiming to deny the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The actual history and success of the Vietnamese revolution under the leadership of Communist Party of Vietnam gives a convincing basis to affirm that: in Vietnam, a pluralistic and multi-party system is unnecessary and unaccepted; In terms of both theory and practice, no other political entity, except for the Communist Party of Vietnam, has enough bravery, intelligence, experience, prestige and capability to lead the State and society, protecting the people's legitimate rights and interests.

(PTOJ) - Editor's introduction: On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Peace Agreement (January 27, 1973 - January 27, 2023), on January 16, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Defense to organize a scientific conference: “The 50th Anniversary of the Paris Peace Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam - Historical significance and lessons learned”. The Journal of Political Theory respectfully publishes the keynote address of the seminar by Prof., Dr. NGUYEN XUAN THANG, Member of the Politburo, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and Chairman of The Central Theoretical Council.
