(LLCT) - The model of social security in Vietnam is the combined form of many different models to generalize many forms of social security from low to higher levels with many different beneficiaries in society. This model is gradually formed and developed in the time of centralized bureaucratic command economy before 1986. The remarkable feature of the social security system before the national renewal is to support specific subjects at that time - meritorious people, people in especially disadvantaged situation, poor people and poor localities. Since the national renewal, all the four pillars of this policy have been implemented.          

(LLCT) - Investment capital plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of each and every nation. Since the 1950s, the UN economists have considered capital shortage an important limitation in the economic growth of developing countries⁽¹⁾. As a developing country which is undergoing industrialization with limited resources, the efficient investment capital mobilization and utilization becomes a decisive factor directly affecting Vietnam’s economic growth in the current period.

(LLCT) - The renovation and completion of mechanism as well as the business environment have initially established the capability of Vietnam’s agro-products to take part in the global value chain. The accession to WTO and bilateral and multilateral economic integration have given way for Vietnamese agro-products to integrate into the global market. The policies on agriculture, commerce, science-technology have been issued and implemented, contributing to improve agro-products productivity and quality, processing value as well as export value. Vietnam’s agro-products have seen a higher position compared with those of other countries.

（LLCT) - During the 30 years of renewal, the country’s social security policy has contributed to liberating the working people and creating favourable conditions for the working people, including providing employment for those in rural areas. Many programmes for farmers have been implemented, allowing poor households to escape poverty and reach better living standards. 

(LLCT) - The Vietnam - Laos border in Dien Bien province is an important area of political security, as it is contiguous to Laos and home to a large number of ethnic minority groups. To promote the Party’s and the State’s guidelines, the Dien Bien province People’s Committee and Party at all levels are focusing on effectively implementing solutions that ensure political security, social order and safety. This will contribute to serving the locality’s socio-economic development.

(LLCT) - The traditional model of state administration is presented in a number of countries, however this model has many faults, including bureaucracy, rigidity, cumbersomeness, and low efficiency. To overcome these limitations in the current political climate, the state has perfected their administrative theories, practices, and objectives.

(LLCT) - New countryside construction is a mission of the entire Party, people, political system in socio-economic development all over the nation. In 2015, countryside construction program had been active for five years. Its achievements and limitations have been initially evaluated. The countryside and agriculture have made some progresses. The countryside has changed rapidly, the material and spiritual life of the people have been improved, a modernized and decent countryside has been created. These achievements are the product of the efforts of the whole political system and the people’s creativity.

(LLCT) - The liberation and comprehensive development of women is one of the Vietnamese Revolution’s goals. Throughout the past 30 years of renovation, the Party’s works concerning women has progressed significantly, enhancing Vietnam’s gender equality and its development overall. Nonetheless, the Vietnamese Government must continue to renew and strengthen its works concerning women.   

(LLCT) - The current changes in Vietnamese - Chinese cross-border ethnic relations are presenting both opportunities and challenges and are having both negative and positive effects on sustainable development in the Northwest in the future.

(LLCT) - Given the development of the country, women in the workforce have not only seen a significant increase, but their presence has become an important source of power for national industrialization and modernization. Although women are so valuable, they are still heavily influenced by societal gender stereotypes which cause negative effects on the country’s development.
