(LLCT) - Since the late 20th century, globalization has gradually been an inevitable trend in the world. The modern productive force created by the scientific and technological revolution, including the means of communication and transportation as well as the prevailing market economy, has made globalization an irreversible process.

HANOI - On February 24, 2014, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (the HCMA - Ed.) hosted the Opening Ceremony of the online and English versions of the Political theory journal (the Journal - Ed.). The Journal is honored to publish the opening speech of the Director of the HCMA, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan.

Self-criticism and criticism is one of the organizational and operational principles of an innovative revolutionary party put forth by V. I. Lenin. It is also the constructional and developmental law of a genuine revolutionary Party. The Opening Ceremony of the First Refresher Course for Reserve Senior Officials was held at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on 27 March 2013. Mr. To Huy Rua, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the Course Steering Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered an instructional speech. At the 24th session of the General Conference in Paris, the UNESCO approved Resolution 24C/18.65 on the 100th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, honoring him as a Hero of National Liberation, eminent culturist of Vietnam. Celebrating the 120th Birth anniversary of the President, Chief Representative of the UNESCO Office in Hanoi, Ms. Katherine Muller Marin said: “I am here today to fulfill the mission of the Resolution adopted by UNESCO General Assembly at its 24th Session in Paris in 1987, on the Birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, the national hero and a great culturist. The General Conference considered that international celebrations on the birthdays of eminent intellectual and cultural personalities would contribute to reaching UNESCO’s objectives and to greater international understanding.“⁽¹⁾
