Abstract: National interests are a critical issue for all countries globally. The article affirms that the Party and the State of Vietnam always put national interests first and are consistent in domestic and foreign policies. This is not only reflected in viewpoints, guidelines and policies but also in practice. Besides, the article criticizes the distorted arguments against Vietnam's national interests for undermining the great national unity bloc and causing political instability.
