Abstract: Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated May 19, 2015 of the Politburo (term XII) (hereinafter referred to as Directive 45) on continuing to accelerate the implementation of Resolution No. 36-NQ/ The Central Committee of the IX Politburo on work with overseas Vietnamese in the new situation was promulgated. The work towards foreign workers has been strengthened, made progress and achieved many results. On the basis of assessing the performance of work with overseas Vietnamese in recent years, comprehensively looking at all aspects, the article draws some experiences, thereby suggesting directions for future development and improving the efficiency of this work.
