Promote the construction and rectification of the party and political system, preventing and combating regression and manifestations of “self-transformation”, “self evolution”

Abstract: On October 25, 2021, the 4th Conference of the Central Committee of the 13thParty Congress issued Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW on “strengthening the construction and rectification of the Party and political system; resolutely prevent, combat, and apply strict punishment on cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of “self-evolution”, “self-transformation”. The Conclusion has many new points, showing the Party’s higher and more drastic political determination in building and rectifying the transparent and strong Party, improving the Party’s leadership and ruling capacity in the new situation. This article aims to clarify some points and breakthroughs of the Conclusion and propose solutions for practical implementation.
